Front Porch Pictures was founded by Jimmy Price and Tyson Bidner.
Jimmy Price is an accomplished Producer and Production Manager with 30 years of experience in motion pictures, collaborating with filmmakers from around the world. A Brooklyn native, he studied film at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
His producing credits span some of the most prestigious festivals on the international circuit, including Riff Raff (Toronto), Oh Canada (Cannes), Y2K (SXSW), Daddio (Telluride/Toronto), Day of the Fight (Venice), On the Count of Three (Sundance), Forty-Year-Old Version (Sundance), The Assistant (Telluride/Sundance), The Kindness of Strangers (Berlin), Three Christs (Toronto), Eden (New York/Toronto), The Good Heart (Toronto), and Jump Tomorrow (Sundance).
His television work includes Amazon’s The Horror of Dolores Roach, Hulu’s Miguel Wants to Fight and Sex Appeal, Jerrod Carmichael’s HBO specials Sermon on the Mount and Home Videos, and ABC Family’s Jane by Design.
Jimmy has produced for internationally acclaimed directors including Dagur Kári (The Good Heart, Iceland), Valérie Donzelli (Hand in Hand, France), and Lone Scherfig (The Kindness of Strangers, Denmark). He has also served as VFX Production Supervisor on major studio productions including Hacksaw Ridge, Doctor Strange, and World Trade Center.
Jimmy is married to Emmy Award-winning makeup artist Kerrie Plant-Price, and together they have two sons.
Tyson Bidner is an experienced Producer and Production Manager with 30 years of experience in the film and television business. He studied at NYU’s Stern School of Business, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management.
Recently, Tyson has won an Primetime Emmy and a PGA award for “The Bear”.
He has worked with some of the greatest filmmakers of our time, including Darren Aronofsky Noah, Joss Whedon The Avengers, Joel and Ethan Coen Inside Llewyn Davis, True Grit, A Serious Man and Sam Mendes Away We Go.
He also was Production Supervisor and Assistant Director of Noah Baumbach's Frances Ha and Mistress America. Other Producing and Managing credits include: Four seasons of the award winning - The Americans, Succession, Ramy, The Looming Tower, The Iron Fist, Sex and The City, Stuart Little 2, Annie, White Collar, Birdman, The Kindness of Strangers and Captain America.
In 2004 Bidner won the Toronto Film Festival’s Pitch This competition for Black Ace, based on the Herb Carnegie story. He was awarded Location Manager Recognition in 2010 and 2011, for Location Managing an Academy Award Nominated Best Picture two years in a row. He has also won the Peabody award in 2019, the PGA award and nominated for the DGA award in 2019 and 2020. He is also the proud father of three great kids.
